On March 11th 2011, Fukushima was devastated by a great earthquake and tsunami followed by a historical nuclear disaster. After seemingly endless effort to clean up tsunami debris and contaminated soil, we still have not found a way to rebuild our homeland. Our real-fukushima team will guide you around Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and tell you about:
- the damage by earthquake, tsunami and nuclear accident
- what are radiation and its damage to the area
- efforts to clean up radioactive contamination
- what is nuclear power generation and its meaning to our world
- difficulties to deal with nuclear emergency
- renewable energy in Fukushima
- people’s efforts to revitalize Fukushima
